2D Animation

2D Animation is the heart and soul of the animator's art. While it's possible to animate in 3D without good 2D animation skills, it's less likely that you will achieve excellence. These projects are from my Intro to 2D Animation class. Students work in both Photoshop and After Effects to complete short projects. 2D animation in Photoshop has a rugged quality, while After Effects allows the student to create very smooth and elegant "cut-out" style animations.
